RSVP Inquiries

When do I need to RSVP by and how?

Please RSVP by October 20, 2021. You can RSVP on this website or mail in the post card you received with your invitation. If you RSVP but can no longer attend, please let us know by November 5th.

What will happen if I do not RSVP?

If you do not RSVP, we will assume you are not coming and will not save you a spot at the wedding.

What if I miss the Oct 20th deadline?

If you decide to come but missed the October 20th deadline for RSVPs, please still RSVP if it is November 5th or before. However, if it is passed November 5th you may no longer be able to attend but contact Elicia or Nick to make sure.

I already sent in an RSVP but can no longer attend what should I do?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make it. We appreciate it much more if you let us know you can't make it so we are not paying for extra food.

General Inquiries

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal. What does that mean? Well, it's a little dressier than casual, so something better than jeans. However, you do not have to wear a suit, tie, or evening gown, but if you want to feel free!

Can I bring a gift to the wedding or does the couple have a registry?

The couple is only accepting monetary gifts. This includes cash, checks, Venmo (@elicia97 or @Nicholas-Caruthers-1), Cashapp ($Eliciarose97 or $NicholasCaruthers), or gift cards.

What type of food will be served at the reception?

The wedding will be catered by Brancato's. Cocktail hour will include two different types of appetizers. The dinner will include an Italian buffet with chicken piccata, a variety of sauces and pastas, salad, and sautéed vegetables. For dessert, there will be a cupcake bar with five different flavors. Lastly, there will be a nacho bar for a late night snack.

How many guests can I bring?

We do have a strict guest list but individuals are allowed one guest/plus one. If you have children, they are also allowed to attend, but please list them when you RSVP. Teenagers are not allowed to bring their significant others due to limited seating. If you have any questions about additional guests please contact the couple asap.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Yes, children are allowed at the wedding. However, they must be supervised at all times. Also, make sure to let the couple know if you are bringing kids, how many, and whether or not they can sit at a kids table. Teenagers are not allowed to bring their significant others due to limited seating.

Will there be assigned tables for guests?

Yes, during the reception there will be assigned tables/seats for guests. Feel free to move around after dinner though!

What is the address of the wedding venue?

The wedding venue is Eighteen Ninety Event Space. It is located at 15640 Hwy 92 Spur, Platte City, MO 64079.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same place?

The ceremony and reception will both be held at Eighteen Ninety Event Space.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors. The cocktail hour will be held outdoors while the event space is being flipped for the reception, so make sure to bring a coat just in case.

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes, free parking is available at Eighteen Ninety. You are also able to leave your vehicle overnight as long as you pick it up by 10 a.m. the next day.

Are you able to leave your car overnight?

Yes, you must pick it up by 10 a.m. the next day.

When do I need to be there for the ceremony?

Please arrive at 4:15p.m to be on time for the wedding ceremony.

What time should I arrive if I want to skip the ceremony?

If you plan to skip the ceremony and just want to arrive for the reception please be there promptly at 5:45p.m. This will give you time to find your seats and enjoy dinner.

What is the detailed schedule for the wedding?

Bar Inquiries

Am I able to bring my own alcohol?

The venue does not allow any guests to bring their own alcohol. If they see any outside alcohol they will ask you to throw it away.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for two hours from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. This means all alcoholic drinks during this time will be free. All other hours alcoholic drinks will cost money. The cash bar will begin at cocktail hour 5 p.m. and end at 8 p.m. The bar will be closed at 10 p.m. 

How much will drinks cost during cash bar hours?

Beers will cost $6, wine is $8, and liquor or mixed drinks are $7.

When does the bar close?

The bar will be closing at 10 p.m.
